In short: nothing that the site does not need in order to work is set without your consent. The measurement and advertising tools actually configured are listed below, with the cookies they set.
What a cookie is
A small file the site places on your device and reads again on your next visit. Some are indispensable: without them the cart empties between two pages and the sign-in does not hold.
The categories we use
Necessary
Sign-in session, cart contents, chosen language, memory of your cookie choice and, when you pay, protection against fraud. They cannot be switched off: without them the site would stop working and payment could not be secured.
Audience measurement
Counting visits to learn which pages actually help: pages viewed, source of the visit, path to a purchase. The tool planned is Google Analytics 4, loaded by Google Tag Manager; it only loads if the publisher has configured it and you accept it.
Advertising and conversions
Measuring the purchases that come from our Google Ads ads, including conversions linked to Merchant Center, and being able to show you our works on other sites (remarketing). These tags only load with your consent, separate from the one given for audience measurement.
Preferences
Remembering the settings you make yourself: dark mode, favourites, recent searches, a dismissed announcement bar. They stay in your browser’s local storage and are sent to no one; only the dark mode of a signed-in account is also saved with the account, so that it follows you from one device to another. The site works without them: it simply recognises you less well.
The cookies, one by one
For each cookie: its name, what it remembers and how long it lasts. Google’s are only set if the matching tool is configured, and only if you have accepted it.

No audience measurement or advertising tool is set up on this site today: the “Audience measurement” and “Advertising and conversions” categories therefore have no effect, and your choice will simply be applied the day one is added.
Managing your preferences
Your choice is kept for six months, then asked again. You can change it whenever you like:
Withdrawing a consent applies from then on: the tags concerned immediately stop setting cookies. Those already set are not erased by the site; they expire when due, or you delete them from your browser settings. Clearing the choice cookie simply brings the banner back.

Cookies set by third parties
Stripe, our payment provider, sets its own cookies on the cart and on the payment pages: these are the two __stripe_… cookies listed above. They are used to spot a stolen card or repeated payment attempts, and are not used for advertising. They are governed by Stripe’s policy: stripe.com/privacy and stripe.com/cookie-settings.
Google’s cookies are only set with your consent, by the tools listed above. Their use is governed by Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Advertising trackers: only with your consent
The site may use some: the Google Ads tags described above, to find out whether our ads bring in buyers. None loads without your consent, and those actually configured appear in the list at the end of the section “The cookies, one by one”. Refusing takes nothing away from you: you buy, download and manage your account in exactly the same way.
