These terms complete the terms of use for accounts that sell on the platform.
Who may sell
In short: you sell what you hold the rights to, under your own name or your company’s, and your account is reviewed by hand before your first listing goes live.
- You must be of legal age, and sell in your own name or in the name of an organisation you are authorised to represent.
- You must be able to invoice and to declare your income in your country of residence.
- You warrant that you hold every right to what you publish, including embedded elements (typefaces, images, code snippets).
- A creator account cannot be transferred without our written agreement.
Account review
Every new creator account is checked by hand before it is allowed to sell; the usual turnaround is two working days. This step exists for a simple reason: a marketplace of files attracts resellers of stolen work, and moderation at the door costs everyone less than removal after a report.

Commission and payouts
The platform keeps 15 % of every sale; the rest is yours.- The commission is taken automatically on every sale; the balance builds up in your dashboard.
- Only sales whose order is completed — paid and delivered — count towards the balance you can withdraw.
- You request a payout whenever you like, from the threshold shown in your dashboard.
- Payouts are made by bank transfer only, in US dollars, from the platform’s account to an account in your name or your organisation’s, and only after the identity check described below.
- Stripe collects buyers’ payments on the platform’s behalf; it plays no part in your payouts, and you have no Stripe account to open.
- Refunds granted to a buyer are deducted from the matching balance.
- Any fees withheld on a payout are shown in the payout form before you confirm the request; those of your bank, or of an intermediary bank for an international transfer, may further reduce the amount received.
- Sales, commission and your balance are also calculated in US dollars (USD); if your bank account runs in another currency, the conversion is made by your bank, on its own terms.
Identity check before the first payout
Before paying out your first earnings, we check your identity and the account that will receive them: a valid identity document and, if you sell on behalf of an organisation, proof of its registration. The receiving account must be in your name or in that organisation’s name.
This check protects your earnings if someone takes over your account, and protects the platform against fraud. Until it is done, your sales keep building up on your balance: nothing is lost, the payout simply waits.
Your obligations regarding files
- The listing must honestly describe the actual contents: formats, dimensions, software versions, what is included and what is not.
- Previews must match the file that is delivered.
- A file must contain neither malicious code nor any element you do not hold the rights to.
- Updates to a work stay available to earlier buyers, unless the listing says otherwise.
Your warranty on rights
In short: you answer for what you sell. If a work infringes someone’s rights, the consequences are yours — not the buyers’, and not the platform’s.
You guarantee the platform and buyers against any third-party claim concerning a work you published: copyright, trademark, image rights, licence of an embedded component. You undertake to indemnify the platform for what such a claim costs it — refunds granted, any damages awarded and reasonable defence costs.
This warranty covers every sale made while the work was online, including after it is withdrawn or your account is closed.
The licences you offer
You choose which licence tiers each work offers, among those described on the Licences page. The licence text shown to the buyer binds you: it prevails in case of disagreement.
Reporting an infringement
Anyone who believes a work published here infringes their rights can report it to signalement@digitalartisnal.com. The procedure is the same for everyone, and each side is heard before a decision is made:
- Notice: the report gives the address of the listing, the rights claimed and what establishes them, and the contact details of the person writing.
- Temporary unpublishing: when the infringement looks likely, the listing is unpublished within two working days while the matter is examined. Earnings from the sales concerned are held on your balance during that period.
- Counter-notice: you are told by e-mail, with the reason for the report, and have 10 working days to reply with proof of your rights — source files, licences, creation dates.
- Decision: the work goes back online if the infringement is not established, or is removed for good if it is. Without a reply from you within the deadline, it stays offline.
Repeated or blatant infringements lead to the closure of the creator account.
Withdrawing a work
In short: you can withdraw a work at any time. Those who have already bought it keep their access and their licence — that is what makes a purchase safe here.
Withdrawal unpublishes the listing: the work leaves the catalogue and can no longer be bought. Downloads already acquired remain available in the customer accounts concerned.
Tax
Your tax and social obligations are yours. The platform gives you the history of your sales and payouts; it does not replace your own filings.
Suspending a creator account
A serious breach — stolen work, malicious file, misleading listing, fake reviews — leads to the removal of the works concerned and, where applicable, suspension of the account. Sums matching disputed sales are held while the matter is examined.
