Crochet three illuminated flat-cap mushrooms: small, medium and large. Each mushroom is worked in one continuous piece from the top of the cap to the base, with no sewing. The open cap and gill stitches let light from the strings inside shine through.
Choose your PDF language
Select French, Arabic, English or Spanish before adding to the basket. The USD 3.50 purchase provides one PDF in the selected language. That PDF contains all three sizes; the four translations are sold separately. Changing the shop language does not change the purchased file.
Three mushrooms in this collection
- Small, medium and large flat-cap patterns, including the cap, gills, stem and base.
- Special stitches, counts and repeats, colour changes, working pauses and the markers used to close the base.
- Making and fitting the clear supports and inserting ready-made LED strings, illustrated with source-pattern photographs.
Level and materials
Intermediate to advanced level. Requires single crochet, double crochet, increases and decreases, plus spaced decreases, joined and spiral rounds, and working in one loop. The source specifies medium-weight no. 4 yarn and a 4 mm hook. Prepare locking stitch markers, a yarn needle, 6 mil clear craft plastic (about 0.15 mm) and clear tape.
The small and medium mushrooms each use one ready-made 20-LED string; the large uses two. The battery control stays outside the base. Battery type depends on the chosen kit. The guide explains insertion, without building an electrical circuit.
Sizes and format
Approximate source heights are 8.9 cm, 11.4 cm and 15.2 cm. Yarn and tension affect the result. Instructions follow the chosen language and US crochet conventions. No finished mushrooms, yarn, plastic, light strings, batteries or other physical materials are shipped.
What this collection covers
All three flat-cap sizes are included. The domed mushrooms from Collection #1 and the promotional-page accessories — snails, acorns, grass and leaves — are outside this guide.
