Make Lizzie, a decorative snail with a coiled shell, stalked eyes and a wavy mantle. The model measures approximately 13.5 × 11.5 cm with the pattern supplies. The step photographs follow a light green, purple and white palette. The second blue and beige snail shown on the cover is a color variation of the same pattern.

Yarn and materials
Prepare a 1.75 mm steel crochet hook and YarnArt Jeans yarn with 160 m / 50 g, made of 55% cotton and 45% acrylic: 14 g of light green 29, 7 g of purple 72 and 3 g of white 62. The guide specifies the rounds, repetitions and quantities for each part.
You will also need fiberfill, two glass eyes measuring 14 mm, suitable glue, a total of 115 cm of aluminum or copper wire 0.75-1 mm thick, fabric adhesive tape, a yarn needle, scissors, round-nose pliers and wire cutters. A wooden skewer and a blunt-tipped toothpick help place the stuffing. The finished dimensions vary with the yarn, hook and tension.
An illustrated 27-page guide
The A4 PDF includes 44 original photographs and the jaw-joining diagram with a translated legend. It contains stitch tables, shaping and assembly steps, a clickable contents list of 15 sections and a bookmark for every page. Stitch names follow US crochet terminology, explained in the glossary.
This advanced project requires experience crocheting in a spiral, increasing, decreasing, sewing small pieces and preparing a wire frame. The finished snail contains a wire frame and glued glass components. The guide takes you through making a decorative piece.
